About this Entry: The UConn Foundation has developed a process for preparing and tracking development officers’ gift agreement submissions to prospects. Using White Owl's PaperSave web forms, workflow, and document management, our solution generates a tailored, editable gift agreement document with just a few clicks, and automatically routes and tracks the document from draft through legal review and donor acceptance, including complete document version history for auditing purposes, and a seamless, direct connection to proposals and accounts in our Blackbaud CRM system. In addition to streamlining the gift agreement process, this feature removes the guesswork for development staff around determining the appropriate content and legal language. This solution offers menu-driven choices, many sourced directly from our CRM database, for staff to create an existing fund, establish a new fund, identify a naming opportunity, and select appropriate signatories.
